Chances are you’ve seen the viral posts that make the internet rounds about moms getting in the picture, but as Chrissy Teigen points out in an Instagram post, it’s not often easy to get in the picture when you’re always the one acting as family photographer.

Mom and celeb Teigen shared a selfie with daughter Luna to Instagram with a caption explaining that she is the family photographer. “I never have pictures of myself because I am selfless and am the designated photo taker and keeper for my family and no one else seems to care to be thoughtful and take good photos of me they merely click them off without paying attention to angles or lighting or general photo ambience,” she wrote.

Thousands of followers chimed in, commenting that they shared the same experience and were often left out of photos as moms. While Teigen makes a valid point, her husband John Legend wasn’t going to let her off the hook so easily for being called out in front of her 25 million followers. In response, he posted an Instagram message of his own with a very flattering image of his wife. He captioned the photo, “When your wife says you’re a bad Instagram husband but you’re like…”

And to drive the point home he posted a second adorable shot of Teigen and Luna apparently enjoying a tea party with the hashtag #goodinstagramhusband.

Touché. Still, the message is an important one. Let’s all get in the picture more often.
