With only months left until its November release date, it’s finally time for a sneak peek into Tom Hanks’ version of the iconic Mister Rogers. Sony recently released the trailer for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and now we really can’t wait!

The much-anticipated sure-to-be blockbuster features Hanks as the beloved children’s show host and Matthew Rhys as journalist Lloyd Vogel. Even though the film follows the story of Rogers and Vogel, it’s not a biopic—at least not according to director Marielle Heller.

So what can you expect from A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (besides what the trailer reveals)? Heller recently talked to Entertainment Weekly about the flick’s authentic set, saying, “We filmed it in the actual studio where they filmed the show, we found the original cameras they filmed the show with and imported them from England so we could film on them. We lit it with the actual lights that had lit Mister Rogers.”

Heller went on to add, “Everything about it feels identical in a way that’s tangible and you feel like you can smell it….You feel like you’ve gone back in time.” And we’re totally ready for it!

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood hits theaters nationwide Nov. 22. But if you want a before-the-debut look, check out the brand-new trailer right now!
